Autumn Wedding in Holland | Floor & Roeland
I must admit I am a huge fan of weddings in October. You risk rain but when the sun shines you have the most beautiful colors outside. The wedding couples prepare everything to happen inside and if it is against all expectations warm and sunny people will just sit outside and tell each other how lucky they are to have sun in October. The wedding of Floor and Roeland was such a wedding. Everything was perfectly organized and decorated with autumn details and flowers by Annemaria from justmarie.nl at the romantic and perfect autumn wedding location kasteel Sterkenburg.

Spring wedding in Lage Vuursche | Mieke & Ruben
Last Friday I was in Lage Vuursche in the Netherlands to photograph the wedding of Mieke and Ruben.
They met each other virtually through MSN – something that sounds so old fashioned today that it just shows us how quickly time is running. The easy it was to talk through a chat where you don’t see each other the difficult it was for them to talk in person. He invited her for the cinema and she refused as she was too shy to spend an whole evening with him. So his sister took action an invited him in with some other friends. They didn’t talk all evening but when he left he gave her the first kiss. Her parents were secretly watching from the top of the stairs and happy that they finally found each other in real life. Duin & Kruidberg Wedding in Santpoort
I love international weddings and this wedding was one of those. The groom is Dutch living in Spain, the bride is American living in Switzerland. Their families came from Germany and Holland, their friends from Spain, Argentina, France and the US. It was incredible to me to use all the languages that I can speak throughout the day and to enjoy this international atmosphere. Featured Friday: Hochdruckgebiet – wonderful letterpress art
I was searching for a good letterpress printer for quite a while. I was searching all over Germany and even in Europe to find a company that I wanted to work with. I was searching a printer for my own stationery as for recommendations to my clients. Letterpress is a very special kind of printing. You even shouldn’t just call it printing it is an art, a hand craft of producing beautiful pieces of stationery. Mexican-German wedding in Velbert | Daniela & Jorge
International weddings are always so much fun to photograph. Daniela and Jorge met several years ago in California when they were both still studying. Having a long distance relationship for a quite a time Jorge decided to move to Münster to live with his love in Germany and continue his studies there. There wedding was beautiful colorful with a keen eye for details and of course everything in two languages Spanish and German. I regretted that my Spanish had gone so bad the past years but luckily most of the guests spoke German or English with me. Read the full post
