In January I met Diana and Matze for the first time. It was a typical day for Münster rainy, grey and wet-cold. So we moved their engagement session inside the Tante August. Those of you who followed my blog will recognize this cafe from several other shootings and weddings. It is such a lovely place just made for a vintage feel photo shoot. Read the full post
Hello In Love
Gordon and Katrina came from Hong Kong to Amsterdam in April right around the huge Queens day. Their friends Thomas and Fiona told them, that if they come to Amsterdam that they should do a couple session with me. The best way to get professional images of Amsterdam with them in the picture.
So Gordon contacted me with a special idea: He wanted to propose during that love shoot to Katrina. I was super excited and we planned that secret proposal during their real “engagement session”. I planned the tour through Amsterdam and for the proposal I chose the “Begijnhof” as a more calm place surrounded by the old houses of Amsterdam. Read the full post
Today we have the lovely engagement shoot of Nines and Paolo on the blog. I met Nines back in 2006 during our Erasmus times when we both lived in the same building of our University in Ghent. When she contacted me last year to tell me she was getting married and she wanted me to come to Spain to photograph her wedding it I was really excited. They both met in Valencia right after our time in Ghent. They fell in love and as Paolo is Italian working in Italy Nines followed him to Italy. They both work as designers now at the same apparel company. With her family still living in Cordoba they decided to get married at a beautiful location in the hills around the city. Paris, as most of you know, is one of my favorite cities. I wish I could photograph a lot more often in this city. Esther is a former work college of me and I am happy to call her a friend as well. When she and her boyfriend Peter heard we were in Paris they didn’t hesitate and spent a romantic weekend in Paris with a couple session on Sunday before they went back home to Holland. It has been a lot of fun to explore the city together and enjoy the beautiful spring weather in Paris. Read the full post

I could fill a whole month of blogposts with funny stories and memories and will fill your eyes with tears but for her and my safety we will keep all these stories to us and I show you their engagement pictures. On the coldest days this year Fiona and Thomas got married in Amsterdam. Arriving from Hong Kong in Thomas home town it was quite a shock for them to see the snow and feeling -8 degrees. Brave as they wore we started their engagement shoot walking trough the beautiful city of Amsterdam and soon we all forgot the cold and enjoyed the photoshoot. Read the full post
