I am a story teller and I do not only tell my own story but above all I tell love stories with my camera. I short while ago I had the pleasure to photograph Mareike, Kristina and her mother Hedwig in my little studio. It was a glamorous and fun day and I loved the interaction and love that happend between the three women.
As the love between mother and daughter is always something special I want to share with you a letter from Mareike and Kristina about their mother.

A while back we decided we want to do more with the little studio. I was using my little space mainly for meetings with wedding clients but the rest of the day the space was empty and the beautiful light in there was just fading away when the sun set. What a waste of light I thought. So we started building backdrops and rearranged the little studio so I was able to use it for photography too. Until now I was used to photograph outside so this was a complete new challenge for me to direct light in a room. I contacted different women to photograph them in here. The morning when Natali came in to be photographed the rain poured down and I just said to Conrad “Look that is what I love about my little space and this new direction, the weather is not an issue anymore.” Read the full post

For at least four years I was checking their website weekly (sometimes even daily). Just to look at their beautiful dresses and imaginary choose one that I would buy. Choosing a dress that would be the perfect dress for me day and night comfortable and sophisticated, elegant but not robe.

I truly believe that you always need to improve yourself and to find new inspiration to define your stile. When my friend Janina from weiperfriseure contacted me if I wanted to photograph their styled session with new hair trends I didn’t need to think about it a minute and joined their team. It was such an inspiring session to work with a professional team and to play with light that I never used before. Usually I shoot outside but for these head shots we needed to shoot inside.
