Today we show you the beautiful wedding of Julia and Karsten full of things in orange, origami cranes and a couple in love.
1000 cranes means luck, health, wisdom and trust in Japan. That is why this symbol is often used for wedding presents. Julia and Karsten chose the origami crane as their wedding theme and the goal was to get 1000 cranes on the day. Julia and her mother already folded many hundreds of origami cranes for decoration of the tables and for the name boards of the guests. Literally everywhere was a small or big origami crane seen which really impressed me. Even more impressed have I been by the guests. In the wedding invitation was an explanation to fold an origami crane and a sheet of paper. The guests didn’t only bring that one crane they even decorated their presents with cranes. I didn’t find the time to count the cranes but I am sure there have been more then 1000. Read more
