Wedding at Gut Havichhorst | Janine & Max

Well well – I am not only behind with my blogging I am more than behind I don’t even want to apologize for it and start right away with showing you this wonderful wedding.

After my season started with most of the weddings in Holland and Belgium I was happy to document this wedding at my hometown Münster in June. It is always the mix of different cultures and different countries that I like most about my profession as a wedding photographer.

I met Janine and Max for the first time in September 2011. I already liked their description of their wedding day back then. Everything should be really relaxed and natural the pictures and the celebration. We met again some weeks before the wedding to discuss the last details and of course plan B „what if it rains..“ as May had been a rainy month.

Luckily everything went perfect and the day was such a big succes. We met for the last time some weeks ago when I gave them their wedding album. I love the meetings after the wedding when you look back and laugh about everything funny that happend and see how the memories of the wedding couple and the album become one. They showed me one picture of their wedding that was taken with an Iphone. „You know this was the first picture we had of our wedding until we saw your pictures“, It was a picture from 6h in the morning when they both walked home from their wedding to their hotel. Through fields and muddy ground. They looked so happy. Of course I wont show you that picture here but the happiness that one single Iphone photo can capture after a long wedding day after the photographer left just impressed me. Here is the „official“ part of their wedding day full of love and fun.
