Monday Preview
It is Monday and we are busy backing up all cards from the two weddings last weekend as well as preparing for next weekends wedding. My mind is still trying to process all the prettiness from this weekend. Saturday we photographed the big wedding of Hannah and Christian at the Hof zur Linde and Thursday we got to capture the intimate wedding of Laura and Shaun at the Waldorf Astoria in Amsterdam with just four wedding guests. The days couldn't be more different (apart from both having tropic temperatures) but that is exactly what I love about weddings: no one is ever the same. Here is a Monday Preview of Shaun.
Engagement Session in the fields | Hannah & Christian
We are just back from yesterday's gorgeous wedding in Amsterdam. The laundry in already in progress to get our wedding outfits cleaned for tomorrow's summer wedding of Hannah & Christian. Seriously the heat is killing me at the moment as there is no place under 25 degrees at our home. But I am too glad that the summer has finally arrived here that I better stop complaining and enjoy the summer feel instead of all the rainy days that filled our summer so far. Three weeks ago we had the pleasure to photograph Hannah & Christian for the first time in the fields and with their bikes. Let's hope we will survive the hottest day of the year tomorrow while capturing their wedding day tomorrow.
Some personal thoughts on my birthday month
It is the first of July and that means two things: The first half of the year is officially over AND it is BIRTHDAY month. I friend told me that turning 30 doesn't hurt it is the 31 that will hurt. And I cought myself thinking just that: "Oh my god it is July now I am turning 31." I am sure a lot of you out there can relate to it. It don't have children, I don't have a house, I didn't see the whole world, I am not a millionaire.... All those things that I thought I could have accomplished with 30 when I was 20. And let me tell you something: whining and pondering about age and time wont bring you anything. 2009 entschied ich, dass ich lieber 24h für mich arbeite als 8 in einem großen Büro zu sitzen. Seitdem ist einiges passiert. Das meiste kannst du von Beginn an auf diesem Blog nachlesen.
