3 tips on being more productive

Do you know those days where you stare at your computer screen watching cat videos, other people websites, plan your next vacation, check out the new collection from your favorite designer? And at the end of the day you finished your groceries list and think where has all the time gone? Productivity can be really hard especially when you have an internet connection or a smartphone with social media installed on it. everything at once seems more exciting and interesting than what you should do. Or even better you just stare at your to-do list and don’t know where to start anyhow. I hear you, I’ve been there too and here are my three tips for being more productive each and every day!
[li]Define your three topics for the day[/li]

Before you start in the morning (or even better the evening before) define three things that have the highest priority and need to be finished that day. Don’t focus on other things just focus on those three to-dos. This might take you just an hour to finish them or the whole morning but at least you know that at the end of the day you finished your most important to-dos. How awesome is that?[li]Use headphones[/li]

I don’t know what it is about headphones but when I work with them on my ears I am 100% more productive. I can focus just on my work instead of listening to things happening around me. If you feel easily distracted try it out and disconnect from the world around you with noise reduction headphones.[li]Don’t check your phone![/li]

This might be the easisest yet most important tip. Don’t check your phone for the time you are working. Turn it around, hide it is your purse or just in your desk and don’t look at the screen of your smartphone. You will see how easy it is without the distraction of whats app, Instagram and Facebook.
