My good friend Beate is getting married today and I am so excited to be by her side and witness the moment she says „I do“ to her husband to be Jan. Beate and me are friends since highschool and the funny thing is photography made us become friends as we both shared the same hobby. She was the one who told me one evening on our roadtrip around India in 2008 some wise words that led me to finally becoming a photographer. She said „Maybe you are a donkey trying to be a horse in the corporate world. Maybe you should become a photographer instead of applying for a job in the marketing.“ Well I didn’t take action that day but these words kept being in my mind and just a year later I had already started Jennifer Hejna Photography. We have been through a lot as friends, living close and living far from each other, living through hard breakups and through the hard process of finding who we are and where we belong. We travelled New York, Paris, France and our big trip India together and we always came back to meet where it all started: Münster.

Beate today I am super proud to stand by your side be your „best man“. I know this day is going to be epic and this is just the start for you and your two men at home.
