Pictures of us

As a photographer you are often behind the camera and not so often … in front of the camera. When Conrad and me met Ruben for his final mentor session and followed his invitation for dinner at his home we went outside to take some headshots of him and talk about camera technique. When we were ready Ruben asked us if he could also take some images of us and of course we agreed. For a planned shoot I would have worn something different and not just one of my black dresses, my hair just being flat but it was a spontaneous idea and it was great to keep the mentor session going with him behind the camera. He sent us the images the next evening and seriously love them. It showed us to be more often in front of the camera and to just who we are: a couple in love.
