Blogging three times about the same couple could either mean that I like them very very much or they had an engagement session, and a civil ceremony and a big wedding in the church. For Mareike and Frank both is the case, but the three blog posts come because of their three photo session that came with their wedding.
After having their civil wedding in Havixbeck, the village Mareike comes from they had their ecumenical wedding in the church the next day in Hamm where Frank grew up.
Mareike and Frank have such a big heart for their family and friends. I cannot say how much I appreciate being one of their friends and having the honour to capture their day for them forever. And I can’t stop smiling when I receive one of those messages today from Mareike on a Sunday morning telling me they are sitting with coffee in their bed looking through their wedding album over and over again remembering the day thanks to their wedding images.
Mareike & Frank thank you so much for being our friends and for letting us capture your day for you forever and for showing us how much your wedding pictures mean to you – it means the world to us.
Special thanks again to Elli who was our third shooter and great supporter on this wedding day. Some of the images below are photographed by her.
Wedding dress: Das Brautatelier
Wedding location: Hagedorn Hamm
Hair and make-up: weiperfriseure
I just love this image Conrad took of Frank’s pocket watch after he told him it is his granpa’s watch.
Usually we don’t show group pictures on the blog but as this is a very personal picture to me I made an exception. These are my girls.
And this is us girls with our men :-)
After Frank told me his mother would hate her personal wedding picture as she was wearing glasses that turned into sun glasses when light hits the glass we quickly decided we would take some single pictures of the parents of the bride and groom too – together with their wedding picture. The wedding pictures of the parents and of the grandparents were part of the decoration.
