When Laura wrote her first email to me she told me she was planning a very intimate wedding in Amsterdam and that she wanted to get married in one of the parks of the city OR in the garden of the Waldorf Astoria. The Hotel has a little chapel in the garden and when I saw it online I told her that if I was here I would definitely pick the Waldorf and that tiny chapel for her wedding to have the most intimate and special experience, without tourists and people taking iphone pictures. Laura and Shaun saw each other for the first time in front of that little chapel with Laura's sister playing the flute at the same time. From Amsterdam with love | Liz and Brett
We travelled back and fourth in one day to Amsterdam to photograph Liz and Brett last month. But all the travel stress was so worth it to first of all meet these two wonderful people and secondly to photograph them in one of my favorite (home) cities: Amsterdam. Last month we got contacted by Liz and Brett Siegel Thurston from Siegel Thurston Photography . They were in Europe to photograph a wedding in Scotland and travel through our continent after that. They asked us if we would be available for a love shoot in Amsterdam for them and though our week was completely packed and we had to be back to Münster in the evening for the Münster Wedding Meetup I so wanted to make this shoot happen for them.
