Timetraveling
Do you know the feeling when you walk in the supermarket and you hear a song that you didn’t here for a very long time and suddenly you feel your throat is getting tied up and you feel a knot in your stomach. The song reminds you of an emotion that you felt a long time ago. I have those songs for all times of my life. They remind me how I felt and I can reconstruct a situation where I sat and watched that music video or listend to this song in the car during a difficult time in my life. Â Don’t get me wrong. There are also songs that remind me of fun times but those sad songs are much more connected with my heart. They get me to start remembering an emotion that I locked away and get me to sob in the supermarket. A minute later the song is over. I take a deep breath and I keep walking remembering all the groceries I needed to buy. It was just a time travel to my past.
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow
And I find it kinda funny
I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I’m dying
Are the best I’ve ever had
