Jessica and Bodo are one of our favorite wedding couples from 2013. I photographed Jessica's bachelorette party in April 2013 and their wedding in July 2013. When Jessica asked me to photograph the two of them again in my studio I was over the moon and when she mentioned that she fell in love with the images of my blue couch here I already started planning the shoot in my head. We contacted Daniela Plesser for Jessica's hair and make-up again and planned the outfits.
Meeting the first time with our wedding couples we sit nicely together and chat about them, about us and about the wedding of course. It is all a nice and relaxed atmosphere and then there is this one question that feels like if all lights bundle and a spot like in police interrogation is hit at me: And what if it rains ? All eyes are on me and expect me to have a super fancy answer or say something like: "We can always shift the couple session to another date !" And just close with a little shy smile. But no that is not what is going to happen. Well if it rains it rains and that means it is still your wedding day so we will take wedding pictures on your wedding day with rain.
Ratet mal wo ich bin ? Ich bin auf einer Fähre auf dem Rückweg von der Insel Juist. Wir haben dort zwei wunderbare Tage verbracht und das Verlobungsshooting von Patrice und Sascha mit ihrem super süßen Mops Eddy fotografiert ( die Bilder folgen bald ;-) ). Letztes Jahr im August haben wir die Hochzeit von Nines und Paolo fotografiert. Ihr habt vielleicht das Verlobungsshooting vor ein paar Monaten hier auf dem Blog gesehen. Nun kann ich endlich auch ihre wunderschöne Hochzeit mit euch teilen. Wenn man den überwiegenden Teil seiner Hochzeiten in Nordeuropa fotografiert, dann fühlt es sich ein wenig ungewohnt an, wenn die Vorbereitungen erst um 16 Uhr beginnen und die Trauung kurz vor dem Sonnenuntergang stattfindet. Es war für uns ein ganz besonderer Tag mit zwei wundervollen Menschen. Der wunderschöne Blumenschmuck und das zauberhafte Bouquet von Nines wurden von Emily Reid von Gypsy Floral aus Austin, Texas designed. Ist es nicht wunderbar wenn man Freunde hat, die den weiten Weg aus den USA auf sich nehmen, um an deiner Hochzeit teilzunehmen und die dann auch noch deine Blumendekoration für dich gestalten?
